Waiting for a withdrawal that does not arrive is the most common reason players contact support. At Spinboss, most delays come from a short list of causes: verification, bonus wagering, the payment method, or the calendar. Work through this guide before you raise a ticket and you will often find the answer yourself.
A normal Spinboss withdrawal, step by step
Knowing what “normal” looks like tells you whether you actually have a problem.
| Stage | What happens | Typical time |
|---|---|---|
| 1. Request | You choose a method and amount (minimum £10) in the cashier | Instant |
| 2. Review | Spinboss checks verification, bonus status and payment details | Up to 24 hours |
| 3. Approval | Funds leave Spinboss to your payment provider | Instant once approved |
| 4. Arrival: PayPal / Skrill / Neteller | E-wallet credits your balance | 0–24 hours |
| 4. Arrival: Trustly / Open Banking | Paid to your bank account | Same day – 1 working day |
| 4. Arrival: Visa / Mastercard debit | Visa Fast Funds where supported, otherwise standard | Often within hours; 1–3 working days |
| 4. Arrival: bank transfer | Paid to your bank account | 1–3 working days |
Limits per withdrawal are £10–£5,000 for e-wallets and debit cards, £10–£10,000 for Trustly and £50–£20,000 for bank transfer. Full details are in our withdrawals guide.
Common withdrawal problems and fixes
| Problem | Likely cause | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| Pending beyond 24 hours | Verification incomplete or documents requested | Upload documents; check email and inbox |
| Rejected: bonus active | Bonus wagering (10x) not finished | Complete wagering or forfeit the bonus, then request again |
| Rejected: name mismatch | Payment account not in your name | Use a method registered in your own name |
| Paid to a different method | Closed-loop rule | Normal; check the method you deposited with |
| Rejected: method cannot receive | Deposited by Paysafecard or Apple Pay | Choose bank transfer or debit card |
| Partially paid | Amount above method limit, or split across deposit methods | Check each method for separate payments |
| Source-of-funds request | Affordability or anti-money-laundering check | Send payslips or bank statements |
| Late after approval | Weekend or bank holiday | Allow extra working days |
Bonus-locked funds and unfinished wagering
If you claimed the welcome bonus (100% up to £1,000 + 200 free spins), your bonus balance must be wagered 10x the bonus amount within 30 days before it converts to cash. Free-spin winnings are wagered 10x and capped at £100. Slots count 100%, live casino and table games 10%, and jackpot slots 0%. Requesting a withdrawal with an active bonus can forfeit the bonus, so read the cashier warning carefully. Our wagering requirements guide explains the maths.
Name mismatch
Spinboss can only pay to an account in the same name as your Spinboss account. A partner’s PayPal or a joint card in another person’s name will be rejected. Use your own method, and make sure the name matches your ID exactly.
The closed-loop rule
Withdrawals go back to the method you deposited with wherever possible. This is an anti-money-laundering rule, not a Spinboss preference. If you deposited by both PayPal and debit card, you may receive the withdrawal in two parts.
Methods that cannot receive payouts
Paysafecard is deposit-only, and Apple Pay deposits cannot be paid back to Apple Pay. If you deposited that way, Spinboss pays you by bank transfer or debit card instead, so make sure you have one added and verified.

Source-of-funds and affordability requests
UK operators must check that gambling is affordable and that money is legitimate. Spinboss may ask for payslips, bank statements or other proof of where your money comes from, particularly on a first large withdrawal or after higher spending. The withdrawal stays on hold until the documents are reviewed, typically within 24 hours and up to 72 hours at busy times. See our KYC verification guide for what is accepted.
Bank holidays and weekends
Card and bank transfers move on working days. A request approved on a Friday evening or before a bank holiday may not arrive until the next working day or later. E-wallets are less affected, which is why they are often the fastest option.

Checklist before you request a withdrawal
- Your account is fully verified (ID and proof of address accepted).
- No active bonus, or bonus wagering is complete.
- The withdrawal method is in your name and is one you deposited with.
- You did not deposit only by Paysafecard or Apple Pay without adding a bank account or debit card.
- The amount is within the method’s limits (minimum £10, or £50 for bank transfer).
- You have checked your email for any outstanding document request.
Remember that withdrawals cannot be reversed back into play. If you notice an urge to cancel a withdrawal to keep playing, that is a good moment to set a deposit limit; see our responsible gambling guide.
When to escalate
If your withdrawal is outside the normal timeline and none of the causes above apply, open Spinboss live chat and ask for the status and any reference number. Follow up with an email ticket for a written record. If the matter is not resolved, use the Spinboss complaints procedure (final response within 8 weeks) and then the ADR provider named in the terms, such as IBAS. Our payment troubleshooting page and the troubleshooting hub cover related issues.
