Payment problems at Spinboss are rarely mysterious. In nearly every case we have looked into, the clue is in one of five places: your bank’s settings, your Spinboss limits, your verification status, your bonus status or a name mismatch. This page walks through each symptom, then tells you exactly who to contact. For general cashier information, see our Spinboss payments hub.
Quick diagnosis: problem, cause and fix
| Problem | Likely cause | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| Debit card deposit declined | Gambling block in your banking app | Switch the block off (often a 48-hour delay) or use PayPal / Trustly |
| Deposit declined, no reason given | Insufficient funds or bank fraud check | Check available balance; approve the payment or call your bank |
| “Authentication failed” | 3-D Secure not approved in time | Retry and approve in your banking app straight away |
| “Limit reached” message | Your own deposit limit | Wait for the period to reset; increases take 24 hours |
| Deposits blocked entirely | Verification or affordability check pending | Upload the requested documents in your account |
| Paysafecard rejected | Voucher not UK-issued or over £250 | Use a UK voucher and stay within £10 – £250 |
| Credit card rejected | Credit cards are banned for UK gambling | Use a Visa or Mastercard debit card instead |
| Money taken, not credited | Pending authorisation or a failed deposit with a bank hold | Check history; contact Spinboss with proof |
| Charged twice | Retried payment or duplicate hold | Usually one hold drops off; contact Spinboss if both settle |
| Withdrawal “pending” | Within the 24-hour review | Wait; check for document requests |
| Withdrawal rejected | Unverified account, active bonus, method mismatch | Read the reason, fix it, request again |
| Payout to closed card | Card cancelled since your deposit | Ask Spinboss to pay by bank transfer instead |
| E-wallet payout bounced | E-wallet name differs from your account | Correct the name or use a matching account |
Deposit declined
Bank gambling block. Most UK high-street and app-based banks let you block gambling payments. If the block is on, your card payment will be declined before it reaches Spinboss. Removing it usually involves a cooling-off delay, which is intentional. If you set the block to protect yourself, think carefully before lifting it.
Insufficient funds. Pending card payments reduce your available balance even though they have not settled yet.
3-D Secure failed. You have a short window to approve the payment in your banking app. If it times out, start a fresh deposit rather than refreshing the page.
Limit reached. A deposit limit you set at Spinboss overrides the method maximum. Decreases are instant; increases apply after 24 hours.
Paysafecard region. Only UK-issued vouchers work, with a maximum of £250 per deposit.
Money taken but not credited
If money has left your bank but your Spinboss balance has not changed:
- Open your transaction history and find the deposit.
- If it says failed or cancelled, the money is normally only an authorisation hold. Your bank releases it, typically within 3–5 working days.
- If it says successful but your balance is wrong, or the transaction is missing, contact Spinboss live chat.
- Bank transfers take 1–3 working days and must carry the payment reference to be matched.
Duplicate charges
A double charge usually means a payment was retried and your bank placed two holds. Normally only one settles and the other disappears. If both actually settle on your statement, send Spinboss a screenshot showing both transactions and it will credit or refund the duplicate.

Withdrawal pending or rejected
Every withdrawal goes through a review of up to 24 hours, so “pending” during that window is normal. After that, check your email and account area for a document request. Your first withdrawal also needs full verification, which can take up to 72 hours at busy times.
Common rejection reasons:
- Verification not complete. See our KYC verification guide.
- An active bonus with wagering still to complete. See wagering requirements.
- Withdrawal method differs from your deposit method (the closed-loop rule).
- Name mismatch on the receiving account.

Payouts that bounce back
Refund to a closed card
If the debit card you deposited with has been cancelled or replaced, a card payout may bounce back. Tell Spinboss support before requesting the withdrawal; it will normally pay by bank transfer to an account in your name instead, and may ask for a bank statement as proof.
E-wallet account name mismatch
PayPal, Skrill and Neteller payouts only go to wallets registered in the same name as your Spinboss account. Nicknames, missing middle names and maiden names can all cause a bounce. Update the wallet name or ask Spinboss to switch the payout to a bank account that matches.

Who to contact: your bank or Spinboss?
| Contact your bank or e-wallet when | Contact Spinboss when |
|---|---|
| A gambling block or fraud check stopped the payment | A successful deposit is missing from your balance |
| A hold has not dropped off after 5 working days | Both duplicate charges have settled |
| Your card or account has been closed | A withdrawal is pending beyond the stated time |
| The e-wallet itself shows an error | A withdrawal was rejected and the reason is unclear |
Live chat is open 24/7; see our support guide for every channel.
Never start with a chargeback
It can be tempting to ask your bank to reverse a payment. Do not do this as your first step. A chargeback or payment reversal is one of the standard reasons Spinboss blocks an account, which freezes your balance and any withdrawals while it investigates. See our account blocked guide.
Instead, contact Spinboss, then use its complaints procedure (final response within 8 weeks) and, if needed, the independent ADR provider named in its terms.
